Bio:
To pay for his sister's medical bills, avid gambler and strategist Jack Queens was forced to make a deal with the mob causing him to go in their debt. Avoiding the mobsters which would eventually murder his sister, he put everything on the line in a high-stakes game of poker against a mysterious magician in which he lost. Frustrated with losing, he stole the playing cards and fled into the night. Finding out that the mob killed his sister the same night, he sought revenge after finding out that the cards were in fact infused with magic properties. However in the end, he couldn't kill the man who murdered his sister due to his similar situation and decided that he would hand the both of them in and return the cards. Returning to the magician, he was told to keep the cards as they had 'chosen' him because they sensed he had the potential for great things.
