I've been doing a little inquiry on the StatsBar template, even breaking up the pipe diction to check for errors; but the code seems solid. In spite that, it renders the power grids for hero infoboxes perfectly in Monobook. Yet, both before and after my perusing, I've noticed that the StatsBar template isn't rendering properly with Common.css activated as your preferred skin.
So visitors not logged in are seeing broken code. Results are the same, whether I render in Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Is the problem with Statsbar, or with Common.css? For some reason, edits are allowed for StatsBar. Not so much for Common.css. Somehow, the official MAA Wiki doesn't have this same glitch.
I would make suggestions based on the Dozerfleet GBS system, except I coded it too differently for it to be useful here. (It uses div elements and css linear gradients instead of PNG files.) Since this is a source code rendering issue, I defer to any mod or admin with CSS editing privileges to deduce the problem with the power grid here. It took me this long to discover the problem, because my settings are usually viewing in Monobook on Firefox - where the template code renders perfectly.
